Charitable Support

We support the superb work of The CIFA Trust through donations and our work.

The CIFA Trust was founded in 2006 to support the work of two local non-governmental organisations - CIFA Kenya and CIFA Ethiopia.

The CIFA Trust has no paid staff and is run by a group of volunteer Trustees who cover all uk costs. Therefore all monies raised are sent to Kenya and Ethiopia. The Trustees have considerable overseas experience in development and humanitarian relief, particularly in Africa.

CIFA-Africa are able to use a small amount of money to achieve some amazing results.

Some of their achievements to date:

• 184 water points developed
• 18 classrooms, 7 dormitories and 2 teachers houses constructed
• 133 Community Animal Health Workers trained and supplied drug kits
• 5 Dairies established
• 11 Water users associations trained
• Cross border peace committees set up to tackle environmental issues, livestock marketing and disease surveillance
• Provision of emergency food aid
