We practice this in our own company in the following ways:

• Investing in our own alternative energy sources

• Using suppliers who use alternative energy sources (such as ecologicalhosting.com for our web hosting)

Transportation

• Using public transport or car sharing wherever practically possible
• Providing our employees with the tools to work remotely and collaborate with each other
• Working with suppliers to reduce product transportation miles
• Allocating local technicians to projects wherever possible

Customers, suppliers and partners

• We only work with environmentally responsible business partners
• Actively encourage the use of paperless transactions e.g. invoices, catalogues, etc
• Promoting green IT solutions to potential customers
• Identifying energy saving opportunities at every opportunity for our clients

Recycling

• by using recycled materials in company literature
• encouraging all employees to recycle business and personal waste
• recycling all product packaging

As well as reducing energy consumption, waste and carbon emissions, working in this way is great for business:
